Jones lasted only five minutes of a bruising encounter before he was forced to withdraw following a late tackle, while Holloway was unable to continue after another clash in the closing stages. City took the lead early on when Craig Davidge - playing wide right in a five man midfield - fired home after ten minutes. Toolstation Premier division side, Hallen hit back shortly after the break, however, before Phil Walsh restored City's advantage mid-way through the second half. The hosts equalised again, but parity was short-lived as prolific trialist Justin Pritchard got City's fourth. Hallen then levelled for a third time before a magnificent run and chip from Lewis Hogg and a late effort from Jimmy Rollo gave the visitors victory. Paul Evans missed the match because of illness and was replaced by Clevedon stopper Richard Fey.
